How long have you been at CA Souls?

I’ve been working at CA Souls for almost 3 years now.

What is your role?

I work in production. My main duties are reviewing orders and prep them for production. I also create custom labels for custom orders - when customers receive their pieces, they will be packaged on personalized jewelry cards. Once the orders are made, I will perform quality control before sending them to packing and shipping. The favorite part of my job is making the jewelry because I get to bring customers’ vision to life.

What drew you to the jewelry business?

Way back when I was in high school, one of my hobbies was making bracelets for myself and friends. I started asking my mom to buy supplies like charms and chains to experiment with putting together something fun. Little did I know, I was going from learning to actually making beautiful bracelets that friends and family love. I think that was the moment I discovered my love for jewelry making. Fast forward, I was looking for a job while attending college and luckily I found CA Souls. On my first day, I knew it already, this job is perfect for me. My hobby turns to work.

Do you have a favorite customer story?

I encounter a lot of customer stories over the years. But, one of my all time favorites is when customers order “I am a fighter” or “I am strong” bracelets/necklaces as a sentimental & empowering gift to a loved one who is battling cancer or going through a hard period in life.

What’s your favorite thing about working at CA Souls?

• I have many favorite things working at CA Souls. The first one is my hobby turned into a job. Second is the workplace and the people. The office is really comfortable - we can play music while working. We have a small team and everyone gets along with each other.  

What do you love about jewelry?

What I love about jewelry is when I am making them, it almost feels like meditation to me. Also, it makes me very happy to know that someone will wear my creations and love them.  

What is your most-loved piece in the CA Souls jewelry collection?

For me, I love the “Colette” bracelet design. It is really cute with a heart charm in the middle and it is easily adjustable.

What do you feel when people are wearing the jewelry you contributed to making?

I feel so happy and proud knowing that people love and wear CA Souls jewelry.

1 year and 2 months.

What is your role?

Office Assistant.

What drew you to the jewelry business?

I stumbled upon it by mistake, but have not regretted my decision to work with jewelry ever since.

• Do you have a favorite customer story?

Customers are always leaving wonderful messages. One message in particular touched my heart. A customer reordered a bracelet for her husband who was being deployed. He lost the first one; she had to reorder another one because he does not go anywhere without it.

What’s your favorite thing about working at CA Souls?

I enjoy flexible work hours and a fun work atmosphere.

What do you love about jewelry?

It is a long-lasting gift that people keep for years.

What’s your most loved piece in the CA Souls jewelry collection?

The Zayne Bracelet. I got one for my brother, and he never takes it off.

What do you feel when people wear the jewelry you contributed to making?

I enjoy seeing the process from start to finish. It feels good knowing that I have created something that people will wear for a long time.
